Howdy gang! How’s the weekend treating you so far? I’m pounding coffee and getting ready to let my feisty muse out of her cage and let her run wild for a couple days. She’s a bit of a Tasmanian devil most of the time.

But anyway! I come bearing fantastic news for zombie fans and folks who dig my writing in general. stranger than fiction

Interestingly, I had a few friends point this bizarre story out to me. The story of a woman in love with a wall. A real woman. A real wall.

Weird, right? When I wrote my novella Wall of Kiss, I had no idea that there are some people who actually fall in love with inanimate objects. I just thought it would be funny, so I wrote it.

Now, after watching that video, I still think it’s pretty funny. But I’m not so sure it’s legit. Anything is possible, I suppose, but I do think a lot of people will do pretty much anything to get on TV.

I’d never even heard of the show Taboo, nor did I ever visit the National Geographic website, despite having a subscription to their magazine for many years. I don’t know why it never occurred to me to look them up, but I digress…

I should track down that woman and send her a copy of the book, don’t you think? Someone should warn her that sooner or later, that bastard is gonna break her heart.

Chemical Gardens Redux for KINDLE

Howdy, howdy, howdy! How’s everyone doing this evening? Well, it’s evening for me anyway and I’m kinda pooped. Been a busy day, working on all new projects, but that is not what I’m here to talk about right now.

Hell no.

I’m here to let everyone know that you can now buy my “first” novel, the crazy Chemical Gardens, for $2.99 on Kindle. It has all-new spectacular cover art by the ever-amazing artist Gary McClusky, who also did the cover art for Praise the Dead. He’s not only a great artist, but a great guy as well. Super-easy to work with. If you have any art needs, I HIGHLY recommend getting in contact with him. He’s awesome.

Also, the trade paperback might not be out for a while yet, so I want to now share with you the entire, unlettered piece. It’s crazy cool and will give you an idea of just how insane the book is. It’s probably my weirdest, funniest story and I don’t know when I’ll get a chance to just go nuts again with a book, so I hope you check it out and tell all your friends. This is the book that wears the happy pants. 🙂

Can be found right HERE. It includes some of the anthologies I’ve been lucky enough to appear in, as well as the books, so far. Just thought I’d share it in case there’s anyone out there who wanted a quick, check-list type thing. The books are all inexpensive and, truth be told, my Kindle sales have been kicking the booty off the hard-copy sales. I think this is a good thing, being the hippie, tree-hugger that I am.

Please help me spread the word by telling your friends, neighbors, family, strangers, and, if you don’t like my stuff, your enemies. Just tell them that my work is awesome, then cackle maniacally when they go off to check it out. This will make you a diabolical mastermind and you will be one step closer to world domination. Glad to be of service. You can thank me later.

Fire up those new Christmas Kindles, folks. Suicide Girls in the Afterlife is now available for $0.99! Now you can join Pogue and all her crazy friends on their wacky adventures through the Sterling Hotel for less than a buck. Can you even ride a bus for that anymore? I have no idea. But I do know this: if you like dreamy, silly, surreal stories, you’ll probably like this.

Hope your new year has been rocking so far and that you give my little goofy tale a try.
