Great news, guys! Grindhouse Press will be publishing the trade paperback of House of Fallen Trees. It should be out this coming summer.
I’m excited to be working with such amazing people and happy that soon everyone who wants to will be able to read what is definitely my best work to date.

Anyway, this painting started out life as something else (bottom left), which I painted over. It has since been sold.
This painting was done on a monopoly board, so all the usual suspects are in there somewhere. I like the looks of it. I obviously really went to town-probably just splashing paint around in a daze, the absolute best state to paint in. It was sold a long time ago.
The name of this painting cracks me up. One of the few watercolors I’ve done, it was on paper, whereabouts currently unknown.
I’m actually working sporadically on a novel of the same name. Kind of a horror/supernatural version of Single White Female and based on actual experiences I had with a pyscho chick I once knew.
This painting was on a huge piece of cardboard and once again points out my lack of drawing ability. That thing in the lower left hand corner is supposed to be a brain. haha. I sold it (!!!) several years ago.
If I was a cow, I’d be pretty worried too. As you can see, this is a pretty goofy painting. Still have it-it’s huge, acrylic on paper bags on canvas.
This is a painting I like a lot. Never even tried to sell it and it’s hanging on the wall about ten feet away from me right now. I remember when I did it, I thought I was more proud of it than of anything I’d ever written. Not sure if I still feel that way, but I dig it nonetheless. It’s 15×30 on stretched canvas, if you care about that sort of thing.
I don’t remember anything about this painting, but I like the stark simplicity of it. Too bad the pic is kinda crappy.
Here’s today’s painting, called Frost on the Path. It sold and I remember being pretty surprised by how much it went for. It wasn’t very big and it was on cardboard. I’m including a detail shot with this one, just because I happen to have one. The title seems appropriate now, given how cold it’s been here in the PNW.
