Brainfused Colorwheel NOW AVAILABLE

Hey gang! How’s your fall going so far? It is cold, gray and wet here in the PNW. Perfect Halloween weather. I’ve been drinking my pumpkin spice coffee and dodging the pinecones that keep trying to clobber me and my dog. Also, writing. Lots and lots of writing. Hopefully I’ll have news to share on that front soon, but for now….

TA DA!

My new collection of stories, Brainfused Colorwheel, has just been released in Kindle format. It has some of my earliest stories, as well as some of my shortest (flash) stories and, what I believe are some of my BEST stories. Some are weird, some are gross, some are disturbing, some are funny. I think there’s something in there for everyone.

Many years ago, I was sent random objects in the mail and asked to write a story about them for an anthology. Well, the antho never happened, but the story remains and it has not been read by many people at all, and it’s included here. I wonder if any of you guys will be able to guess which one it is.

If you’ve been reading my stuff for a long time, some of these stories will be familiar to you. But I’m still sure some will be brand new to even the most longtime reader.

Either way, I hope you check it out. And how about that killer art from artist extraordinaire, Gary McCluskey? Gotta love it, right?

So, until next time, keep the fires burning. You never know when I might pop in and offer to break open a bottle of Old Crow with ya. 🙂

xo,

Hello my little chickadees! Just popping in quickly to give you all the great news that Dark Surge in now 20% off over at the Dark Regions site. Just head on over there and use the coupon code RANALLI20 and-presto!-it’s yours.

Definitely browse the site a bit too while you’re there. There’s bound to be something that catches your fancy.

I’m not sure how long this sale will last, so if you’ve been on the fence about DS, now might be a good time to snatch a copy and find out just how twisted my little brain can really be.  (hint-it’s pretty twisted.)

OK, ciao ciao for now, kids. Have a stellar weekend! ❤

Unearthed Reviews

Couple of new reviews for my Delirium novella Unearthed have just been brought to my attention. I’m happy to say they’re good ones.

The first one is from Literary Mayhem , which is always a good place to catch up on the latest releases in the horror genre.

Next up is The Horror Review , another fantastic site to keep up with all things spooky and gross.

Huge thanks to both reviewers for taking the time to check out my little story. Honest reviews are always, always appreciated.

Also, for all you Kindle users, I’m happy to inform you that Unearthed in now available for 18% off at Amazon. Every penny counts in this economy, right?

Hope you guys are all having an amazing humpday and I’ll talk to you again soon! ❤

A new collection will be coming to your Kindles next month. It’s called Brainfused Colorwheel and it’s full of a whole lot of weirdness, both previously published and never before seen. Hope you guys give it a go. The art is by the wonderful Gary McCluskey and it’s among my favorite covers for sure. Wooo!

“If a vegetarian, vegan, or raw-vegan child dies or becomes sick, the parents are often imprisoned and the other children taken away by the state.
If an obese child dies or becomes sick, which is far more common, it is considered the fault of society. The parents are held entirely blameless and unaccountable. Rather than getting jail time, the parents are comforted and consoled, and referred to grief counseling. Their other children, often also obese, are never
taken away. If overweight children were taken away from their parents, a third of the children in this country would become wards of the state.
How terribly unfair that these well-intentioned parents, who suffer just as much at their loss, who are bravely attempting to change the world for the better, should be so brutally punished for daring to be different, for having the audacity to think for themselves.”  –Jinjee Talifero

Good morning, one and all. As anyone who keeps up with me on the social networking sites already knows, this has been a pretty crappy week and a half for me. I’ve been really sick and spent most of my time either sleeping, doped on pain meds or both. Not a pretty sight, I can assure you. So, I haven’t gotten anything done in all of that time which is damn depressing, but some things can’t be helped.

But wait. That’s not entirely true. One thing did get done. And that thing is I made my YA Fantasy novel Peppermint Twist available for Kindle. YAY!!! This book has been sitting on the sidelines for a long time, for various reasons, but now it’s yours to check out, should you wish to. And not to worry-I’ve been told it’s pretty fun for adults too. So, go grab a copy, especially if you have a sweet tooth. 😉

ps-I can’t seem to locate the cover art right now, but I’ll put it up later. Promise! But it’s up on Amazon, if you’re inclined to see it. By the wonderful Gary McCluskey.

Praise the Dead Sale!

Howdy gang! How’s the weekend treating you so far? I’m pounding coffee and getting ready to let my feisty muse out of her cage and let her run wild for a couple days. She’s a bit of a Tasmanian devil most of the time.

But anyway! I come bearing fantastic news for zombie fans and folks who dig my writing in general. For a limited time, you can grab my zombie novel Praise the Dead for just 99 cents on Kindle, Nook, Apple, etc.  This is a great deal and I sincerely hope that if zombies are your thing, you check it out and let me know what you think. I’m pretty fond of the little brain-munchers myself so I was really happy when Coscom Entertainment let me put my own new spin on them.

Thanks in advance to everyone who checks it out. Happy reading and always remember, AIM FOR THE HEAD!

Hey all! How was everyone’s long weekend? Mine was fairly uneventful but this morning I have a cool new review to share with you (look at me, busting out the rhymes!) Courtesy of Carson Buckingham and Shroud Magazine Book Reviews you can check out the latest review for my haunted house novel, House of Fallen Trees. It’s a good one and I’m beyond happy that so many people have enjoyed this story. If you haven’t already, I hope you check it out soon.

Many thanks to Carson and Shroud!

Now I must procure coffee and get on to the next creepy, weird tale. Have a good one, guys!

Where is My Mind?

Yep. Just like the classic Pixies song.

I have been remiss in regards to an upcoming LIVE interview with me that’s coming up soon. This Friday, the 13 of May, at 8 pm, PST, in fact. Sorry about the short notice. What a complete space cadet I am. I have no idea why I forgot to mention it but hopefully that won’t impact the show too much.

Anyway, the wonderful Greg Hall has, for some mysterious reason, invited me back to be a guest again on the Funky Werepig.  Trust me, no one is more baffled than I when someone actually wants to talk to me about my writing and all that good stuff. Hopefully I will manage to not make a complete monkey out of myself, but you never know. It might be worth tuning in just in case. Plus, you can call in and ask me embarrassing questions, if that is your pleasure.

So, yeah. The call in number is on THIS page. Those guys are all fancy too, with a chatroom and everything. It’s gonna be a good time. Come play with us!
