hello all you folks out there in cyberland. I hope you’ve all been having a great spring so far. mine has been pretty good, though it’s still pretty cool and damp in WA where I live. can’t wait for some bright, sunny weather that lasts for more than hour or so before it goes back to being gloomy and gothic. (Although gloomy and gothic both have their charms as well. I wouldn’t live here if they didn’t.)
I’m here today to let you in on some news that may seem bad at first but I think ultimately will turn out to be pretty good in the long run. a couple of my books, Praise the Dead and Mothman Emerged, will be going out of print soon. that’s just how it goes in publishing sometimes. but even though it’s not the greatest news I’m pretty optimistic for whatever the future might hold for those stories, which were each planned to be opening acts for larger stories, in the case of Praise, a trilogy. I still plan on making that happen at some point, so if you like the heroes of either of these books, take heart because it’s probably not the last you’ll be seeing of them. if you have yet to grab a copy of either one, definitely do so soon. I think they’re pretty fun stories and I’m looking forward to diving back into those worlds eventually.
so, there’s that.
also, just want to give a quick shout-out to my hometown, the city of Boston, one of the greatest cities in the world, with the greatest people in the world. my heart is with you guys-stay safe and stay strong. I love that dirty water – always. ❤
and that’s it for me, for now. have an outstanding day, people.
PEACE!
